I'm wasting time...hanging round in Pigeon Town

Cousin Johnny comes to play
I yell out just go away
We go down to the fishing hole
I grab his hand, he grabs his pole
He gets drunk and starts a fight
Looks for someone new to spite
I get mad, he starts to howl
I head right back down to the holler

It's no surprise...don't ask me why...he's doing time
somewhere South of Pigeon Town

this happened almost every night....

Yeah and you can say all the shit you want to about blood
being thicker than water...It's thick alright...like mud...
that's just the way it is around here...lay of the land
and all that crap...Dog eat Doggie and you'll get a stick
in your eye every time just for trying...you go to bed with
the pigs...you wake up with the pigs...But hey I was born
around here...at least I had the smarts to get the hell out...
not that it matters where your from...it's all the same...
